クラシカルな合唱を取り入れた女声ボーカルグループ。
オリジナル・カバーを問わず、「海」にまつわる楽曲を歌う。
いつか電気を全く使わないコンサートを開催するため、” 電子楽器は使わない ” としている。
「母なる海」を女声による音楽で表現し、その音楽活動を通じて、近年の海を取り巻く様々な問題 (海洋ごみ・漂着ごみの問題、マイクロプラスチック、気候変動による海洋環境の変化など)について多くの人に知ってもらい、考えてもらうきっかけを作りたい、と考えています。
日本財団、総合海洋政策本部、国土交通省による「海と日本 PROJECT」推進パートナー。
環境省「プラスチック・スマート」フォーラム登録団体。

A female vocal group with a classical chorus.
We sing songs related to the sea, both originals and covers.
We have decided not to use electronic instruments in order to one day hold concerts that do not use electricity at all.
We express “Mother Sea” with female voice, and through their musical activities, we aim to make people aware of various problems surrounding the sea in recent years (marine litter, drifting garbage, microplastics, changes in the marine environment due to climate change, etc.).
We are a partner in promoting the “Umi to Nihon Project [Sea and Japan]” by the Nippon Foundation, the Headquarters for Ocean Policy, and the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism.
Registered with the Ministry of the Environment’s “Plastic Smart” Forum.
Formed in January 2020.
